Stablebase was founded in 2023 by a team of engineers and finance veterans who believe crypto should be as easy to accept as a credit card — but without the fees, chargebacks, and restrictions.
Our Mission
Making crypto payments accessible to everyone
We started Stablebase because we saw too many talented developers giving up on crypto payment integration — it was just too hard. Complex node infrastructure, fragmented chains, unreliable APIs.
We built the infrastructure we wished existed. Today, Stablebase powers payments for startups in Lagos, exchanges in Singapore, and enterprises in New York — all with the same simple API.

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently and to provide information to website owners. Stablebase uses cookies and similar technologies (such as local storage and session storage) to operate our platform and improve your experience.
Types of Cookies We Use
We use four categories of cookies: (1) Essential Cookies — necessary for the platform to function, such as authentication tokens and session management; (2) Analytics Cookies — help us understand how users interact with our platform (e.g., which API endpoints are most used, dashboard navigation patterns); (3) Preference Cookies — remember your settings and preferences such as dashboard layout and notification preferences; (4) Security Cookies — used to detect and prevent fraudulent activity and ensure the security of your account.
Essential Cookies
These cookies are strictly necessary for the Stablebase platform to function. They include cookies for user authentication (keeping you logged in), CSRF protection tokens, load balancing session identifiers, and API rate limit tracking. You cannot opt out of essential cookies as the platform will not function without them.
Analytics and Performance Cookies
We use analytics cookies to understand how developers use the Stablebase dashboard and API. This data is used to improve our product. We use privacy-respecting analytics tools and do not share individual usage data with advertisers. You can opt out of analytics cookies in your account settings.
Third-Party Cookies
Some third-party services integrated with Stablebase may set their own cookies. These include our infrastructure providers (for CDN performance), payment processors (for billing), and customer support tools (for chat functionality). These third parties have their own privacy policies governing cookie usage.
Managing Cookies
You can control cookies through your browser settings or your Stablebase account settings. Note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of the Stablebase dashboard. To clear cookies, refer to your browser's help documentation. You can also use browser extensions that block tracking cookies.

This Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy establishes Stablebase's commitment to preventing our platform from being used for money laundering, terrorist financing, or other financial crimes. This policy applies to all Stablebase products, services, employees, and customers. We maintain a robust AML compliance program in accordance with the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) recommendations, applicable local laws, and industry best practices.
Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
Stablebase implements a risk-based approach to customer due diligence. All customers must complete identity verification before accessing paid services. Enhanced due diligence is required for high-risk customers including PEPs (Politically Exposed Persons), customers in high-risk jurisdictions, and accounts processing above defined transaction thresholds. We continuously monitor customer relationships and update CDD records as required.
Transaction Monitoring
We monitor all transactions processed through our platform for suspicious activity. Our automated monitoring system screens transactions against global sanctions lists (OFAC, EU, UN, FATF), assigns risk scores based on counterparty analysis and behavioral patterns, flags unusual transaction volumes or patterns, and identifies transactions involving known illicit addresses. Flagged transactions are reviewed by our compliance team within 24 hours.
Sanctions Compliance
Stablebase maintains a zero-tolerance policy for transactions involving sanctioned individuals, entities, or jurisdictions. We maintain real-time integration with OFAC's SDN List, the EU Consolidated Sanctions List, the UN Security Council Sanctions List, and country-specific sanctions lists. Transactions are automatically blocked if they involve sanctioned parties. Blocked transactions are reported to relevant authorities as required by law.
Suspicious Activity Reporting
When we identify potentially suspicious activity, we will escalate for internal review, file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) or equivalent reports with relevant financial intelligence units as required, preserve related records for a minimum of 5 years, and comply with all applicable reporting obligations. We do not tip off customers that a SAR has been filed about their transactions.
Record Keeping
We maintain comprehensive records of all customer identification documents for a minimum of 5 years after account closure, transaction records for a minimum of 5 years, compliance assessments and risk ratings, SAR filings and related documentation, and employee AML training records. These records are available to regulators and law enforcement upon lawful request.
Employee Training
All Stablebase employees who handle customer accounts or transactions receive mandatory AML training upon hiring and annually thereafter. Training covers identification of suspicious activity, KYC/CDD procedures, sanctions screening processes, SAR filing procedures, and consequences of non-compliance.
Contact & Reporting
Our Chief Compliance Officer oversees this AML policy. To report suspicious activity or compliance concerns, contact [email protected]. Customers who believe their account has been incorrectly flagged may contact [email protected] with supporting documentation. All reports are treated confidentially.
